Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking proposals for Firefighter Certified Training Courses. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, and fees to deliver these California State Fire Marshall (CSFM) certified courses. Minimum qualifications for bidders include being licensed to do business in California and possessing at least five years of verifiable experience delivering certified training courses for first responders. Several specific training courses are outlined, including various levels of water rescue, rope rescue, tower rescue, and animal technical rescue. The contractor must specialize in training for first responders and provide qualified instructors with documented field experience. All courses must adhere to applicable national standards and industry best practices, with the contractor supplying all instructional materials and equipment. CAL FIRE will provide classroom access, parking, facility access, and training locations.
