Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections is seeking a full-time Dental Laboratory Technician Instructor for Pennsylvania Correctional Industries at SCI Cambridge Springs. The instructor will provide hands-on vocational training to incarcerated individuals, covering dental laboratory procedures, equipment use, and quality control. Key responsibilities include curriculum development, direct supervision of participants, and ensuring product quality meets specifications. The role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of dental laboratory technician experience, preferably in removable prosthetics, and the ability to teach and work within a correctional environment. A Certified Dental Technician credential and prior experience in adult education are preferred. The position operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, on-site only, with no telework offered. The contract is for one year with the option of four one-year renewals.
