Description
The Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (HQ AFRC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for Advanced Trauma and Tactical Medical training services. The training is intended for military medical personnel and requires accredited Level 1 Trauma Centers and/or Academic Medical Centers with certified personnel to deliver high-volume, standardized training. The program is expected to train between 1,500 to 2,500 students annually, with class sizes ranging from 20 to 50 students per cohort. The performance period is anticipated to begin no later than the end of August 2026 and conclude no later than July 2027. Training facilities must be verified Level 1 Trauma Centers or integrated within Academic Medical Centers. Key curriculums required include the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) using the ENA standard, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) using the AHA or equivalent standard, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) using the ACS standard, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Tier 2 (Combat Lifesaver - CLS) in accordance with DHA/JTS guidelines. Vendors providing TCCC Tier 2 training must possess Joint Trauma System (JTS) authorization prior to contract award.
