Description
Stanly Community College is soliciting proposals for a design-build team to construct a new 30,000 square foot, two-story instructional facility. This facility will house programs for Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), Law Enforcement Continuing Education, and Criminal Justice. It will also include administrative and student services offices, student spaces, and meeting areas. The project scope includes all design and construction services, from schematic design through project close-out, including site work, utilities, paving, landscaping, and IT infrastructure. A minimum 300ft x 600ft driving pad is also required for training purposes. The total project budget is $16,850,000, funded by OSBM Grants, with an intended completion in 2029. Proposing firms must be properly licensed in North Carolina for both construction and design services.
