Description
The City of Reno is soliciting qualifications from a professional engineering consultant to provide construction management engineering services for a new dewatering building at the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility. The scope includes construction management, engineering services during construction, construction administration, commissioning, coordination with a construction manager at risk, and support from construction through final acceptance and closeout. The selected consultant must have Nevada-licensed professional engineers and demonstrated experience with municipal wastewater treatment infrastructure, solids-processing and dewatering equipment, complex process equipment installation, hazardous or corrosive environments, electrical and HVAC/odor-control integration, facility continuity, QA/QC, schedule and cost management, and commissioning. The consultant must also support federal and State Revolving Fund requirements, including DBE good-faith efforts, Davis-Bacon wage compliance, debarment, Build America, Buy America, American Iron and Steel, lobbying certification, and related reporting and documentation. Responses are limited to 30 content pages, excluding covers, tables of contents, divider pages, and resume appendices. Short-listed firms may be invited to a 15-minute presentation and interview.
