Description
The City of Reno is soliciting a lump-sum bid for the complete interior gut and renovation of existing men's and women's restrooms and locker rooms at its Corporate Yard. The work includes demolition of existing plumbing fixtures, walls, floors, ceilings, appurtenances, lockers, and related office-area components; replacement of lockers; and construction of new ADA-accessible restroom configurations. The scope includes new walls, gypsum board and fiberglass-reinforced plastic wall finishes, resilient sheet flooring, toilet partitions and accessories, solid-surface countertops, suspended and gypsum-board ceilings, painting, mechanical exhaust distribution, replacement plumbing fixtures and associated piping, relining of the existing waste main, and replacement of lighting, receptacles, switches, wiring, and related electrical components. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals, applicable licenses, prevailing-wage compliance, required bonds, insurance, and subcontractor documentation. The contract provides for 60 working days of performance, with substantial completion stated as no later than February 2, 2027; the documents also state that construction is anticipated to begin around May 2027, which appears inconsistent and should be clarified.
