Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking an acceptable gas laboratory for Deep Submergence Systems to test one Government-furnished fluid valve stem. The contractor must provide the facilities, personnel, and calibrated equipment needed to simulate specified temperature, pressure, and humidity conditions; perform odor testing; capture and analyze gaseous emissions; identify and quantify volatile organic compounds and toxic chemical byproducts; and compare results with NAVSEA exposure limits to recommend a usage category. The contractor must develop a Test Plan for government approval before testing and submit a Certification Data Report containing the testing and chemical-analysis results. The contractor is responsible for safeguarding the Government-furnished property and returning the material after testing. The quote must include completed RFQ pricing and information pages, technical information demonstrating compliance and capabilities, and a Government Property Management System Plan or qualifying confirmation letter.
