Description
The Department of the Navy is soliciting offers from small businesses for the manufacture of 2,244 inches of 8-inch Schedule 40 pipe, NSN 1H-4710-016205542-X2, part number MIL-DTL-32386, Type 1. The pipe must comply with the applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data, Technical Data Package, drawings, specifications, standards, packaging requirements, and other cited technical documents. The contract is firm-fixed-price and requires delivery to the designated receiving officer in Kittery, Maine. The contractor must maintain an acceptable inspection system and comply with government quality-assurance requirements. One package containing applicable pre-manufacturing procedures, drawings, and other submittals must be submitted for approval within 45 days after contract award. Vendor-certified reports of test and inspection must also be submitted under the applicable technical data requirements, with authorization to ship required from the contracting officer. Technical documents require password-protected, pre-registered access and may be subject to NOFORN distribution restrictions. Offers must consist of the entire RFP completed and signed; NECO offers will not be accepted.
