Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting shouldered screws conforming to Marotta Drawing 233029, Item 12, Part Number 180346. The screws must use 300-series material meeting the specified SAE, ASTM, or military material standards and must undergo required chemical and mechanical analysis, thread inspection, and applicable intergranular corrosion testing. This is designated Special Emphasis material for use in a critical shipboard system. The contractor must maintain material traceability through production and subcontracted operations, provide test certifications and certificates of compliance, maintain an acceptable quality system, and support Government source inspection. Certification data must be submitted through Wide Area Workflow for review and acceptance before each shipment; no material may be shipped before acceptance. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and provide a signed OEM authorization letter on the OEM's letterhead.
