Description
The United States Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting offers for the manufacture and supply of nine Port Adapters, part number S2C10387-3EA, in accordance with Vacco Drawing S3E10036, Item 1. The components will be used in a crucial shipboard system and are designated Special Emphasis Material, Level I, requiring stringent controls to prevent defective or nonconforming material. The Port Adapters must use SAE AMS-QQ-S-763, Class 304, Condition A material and satisfy quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, non-destructive testing, intergranular corrosion testing, inspection, welding or brazing qualification, traceability, packaging, and certification requirements. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001 quality system with specified calibration controls, support Government source inspection, and submit certification data through Wide Area Workflow for review and acceptance before each shipment. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and provide a signed OEM authorization letter on the OEM's letterhead. The award will be bilaterally issued and DO-rated for national defense under DPAS.
