Description
Snohomish County Public Utility District is soliciting a prequalified electrical contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and incidentals required to replace approximately 41 depreciated overhead distribution poles across South County. The work includes pole removal and installation, transfers of electrical and communications facilities, grounding, guying, conductor and transformer work, traffic control, restoration, erosion and sedimentation controls, material handling, and as-built documentation across multiple work orders in Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Monroe, and nearby areas. Bidders must already be on the District's Small Works Roster and prequalified for A-1, “Overhead Line Construction, Distribution, 12kV.” The successful contractor must complete the project within 75 calendar days after the applicable Notice to Proceed, provide a 100% performance security, maintain specified insurance coverage, and submit proposal, experience, personnel, equipment, subcontractor, surety, and responsibility documentation. The engineer's estimate is $250,000.
