Description
Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County is soliciting bids for the 2026 Capital Improvement project involving replacement of approximately 2,250 linear feet of eight-inch ductile iron water main, associated fittings, 41 water services, five fire hydrant assemblies, two blow-off assemblies, one combination air vacuum release assembly, and three pressure-reducing valve vaults. The work also includes asphalt trench patching and restoration overlay, private asphalt and gravel driveway removal and restoration, erosion control, and landscape and surface restoration. Bids must include bid security equal to five percent of the total bid amount, excluding sales tax. The project includes an apprentice utilization requirement, typically 15 percent of labor hours, and encourages qualified Washington State-certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises to bid.
