Description
Columbia County, Georgia is soliciting bids for one general construction contract to provide a hypochlorite generation and feed system at the Blanchard Water Treatment Plant. The work includes modifications to the existing Chemical Building and Operations Building, bulk chemical storage area improvements, site work, piping modifications, electrical work, SCADA, and related work and appurtenances. Bidders must hold a State of Georgia Utility Contractors License and comply with project-specific licensing requirements. A bid bond of at least 10% of the lump-sum bid is required; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Electronic bids must be submitted through the designated procurement portal; sealed written and faxed bids will not be accepted.
