Description
The City seeks a banking institution or institutions to provide a broad range of municipal banking services. Requested capabilities include depository and collection services; account reconciliation, positive pay, information reporting, payroll ACH, disbursement, and lockbox services; investment and sweep services; merchant card services; and purchasing cards. The City intends to place most services with one bank while retaining some diversity, and invites voluntary alternatives for services outside the stated scope. Proposals must follow the nine-section format in the solicitation and address the requested service capabilities, financial strength, implementation, references, and pricing. The City requires annual financial reports for the past two years and four comparable-service customer references. The proposed bank must be federally or Michigan-chartered and have offices in Michigan. The agreement is proposed for no less than one year; no specific end date or option structure is stated.
