Description
The City of Westland’s Tax Increment Finance Authority seeks a contractor to inspect, clean, and maintain the Nankin Square Amphitheatre’s structural steel frame and PTFE fabric membrane. The contractor must provide necessary access and safety equipment, perform annual inspections and cleaning, check fasteners, bracing, coatings, structural integrity, fabric tension, attachments, and condition, and report findings with photographs and recommended actions. Minor or major membrane repairs must be reported to the Authority’s liaison. The scope also requires immediate special inspections after specified events, including substantial seismic activity, extreme winds, heavy external impact, or nearby fires. The contractor must maintain and provide records of inspections, repairs, and cleaning, including signed and dated checklists and dated photographs. Services must follow applicable warranty guidance, industry standards, and manufacturer protocols.
