Description
SEMCOG seeks one engineering and environmental consulting firm to provide as-needed technical, regulatory, policy, and project support for drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, flood resilience, and other environmental infrastructure topics. Work may include interpreting regulations and permits; analyzing legislation and impacts; preparing technical summaries, briefings, presentations, comments, guidance, case studies, and recommendations; supporting infrastructure asset management and regional coordination initiatives; conducting research and strategic planning; and facilitating stakeholder workgroups and meetings. Some assignments include in-person regional events and meetings, while routine coordination meetings are primarily virtual unless otherwise requested. The proposal must include a task-itemized cost proposal with hourly labor rates and may not exceed $50,000. Required proposal content includes a title page, one-page executive summary, experience and qualifications, project workplan, project timeline, cost proposal, references, and a certificate of insurance meeting Attachment A requirements. A redacted proposal copy is optional. The selected consultant will also submit a report summarizing work performed by June 1, 2027.
