Description
The City seeks a consultant to assess visitor-oriented signage and wayfinding, including connections among commercial areas, transportation, visitor destinations, and the Creative District. The work includes reviewing existing signage, identifying gaps and sign-code conflicts, engaging City staff, advisory boards, and community stakeholders, and recommending improvements. Deliverables include categorized sign types and design standards aligned with City branding, recommendations for welcome and Creative District signage, accessibility and messaging guidance, prioritized locations, a phased multi-year implementation plan, and cost estimates for design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance. The estimated total project cost, including engagement and site analysis, must not exceed $25,000. The agreement is intended to begin in winter 2026, with a mutually agreed-upon end date and no renewal option.
