Description
Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County is soliciting quotations for 39 115-kV steel transmission poles and associated anchor bolt cages and hardware. The scope includes design, engineering, fabrication, galvanizing, powder coating, lifting vangs, grounding components, bolts, nuts, lockwashers, testing, packaging, and delivery. The poles must comply with PUD Specification 1565.1, Revision 6, applicable ASTM, ANSI, ASCE, AWS, and NESC standards, and the project drawings and loading schedules. The proposal form identifies ten pole types in quantities totaling 39 poles, plus 39 anchor bolt cages. Anchor bolt cages and associated hardware are to be delivered no earlier than May 2027, and steel poles are due on or before September 1, 2027. Bidders must submit design drawings and calculations with their proposals, a signed proposal form, and proof of bid security equal to 5% of the total bid excluding tax. The successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 25% of the total award including tax.
