Description
The City of Everett is soliciting a restricted quote for reconstruction and improvement of the existing dock at Green Lantern Park. The work includes removing existing decking and perimeter girders, retaining interior joists, installing new joists in the first two dock sections, installing pressure-treated double 4x8 girders, fabricating and installing a metal handrail assembly, and installing metal grating decking. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, traffic control, site security, debris containment, cleanup, and disposal required for completion. Work must follow the provided architectural and structural drawings and be physically complete within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The project has an engineer's estimate of $110,000. The contractor must control debris over the water, use under-dock tarps or netting and containment booms as needed, perform work during normal weekday hours, comply with Washington prevailing-wage requirements, and meet specified insurance and public-works responsibility requirements. Only contractors listed in the applicable MRSC Shared Small Works Roster category on the issue date may submit quotes.
