Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is soliciting bids for Phase 2 surface rehabilitation of Old Seward Highway between International Airport Road and Tudor Road. The work includes approximately 1,612 tons of asphalt pavement, removal of approximately 6,647 square yards of pavement, storm drain pipe installation and modifications, catch basins, manholes, sidewalk reconstruction, and traffic signal retrofitting. The project may also involve contaminated soil and groundwater management. The solicitation states that electronic bids will not be accepted and that paper bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. It also references possible bonding requirements and Community Workforce Agreement compliance; the attached solicitation documents needed to confirm those requirements are not available in the provided package.
