The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is offering cooperative-agreement funding through three programs: the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, the National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, and the National Program of Cancer Registries. Activities include breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic follow-up for low-income women without adequate insurance, optional evidence-based interventions to increase screening, coalition-led implementation of jurisdiction-wide cancer control plans, and population-based central cancer registry operations. Eligibility varies by program and includes state and territorial governments, federally recognized tribes and tribal organizations, eligible bona fide agents, and other organizations identified in the notice. The opportunity has an estimated total program funding of $1,260,000,000 and expects 196 awards; cost sharing is required. Applications must be submitted electronically by the stated deadline.
