Description
The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is soliciting bids for the replacement of the existing low-slope roofing at the Computing Center. This is a prevailing wage project. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $350,000, with liquidated damages set at $500 per day for late completion. The anticipated start date for the work is August 17, 2026, with a scheduled completion date of October 30, 2026. If awarded, the contractor will be required to carry Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Pollution Liability, Contractors Equipment, Installation Floater, Rigger's Liability, and Builder's Risk insurance. Specific limits and requirements can be found in the Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement template.
