The Nevada Health Authority (NVHA) is requesting a noncompetitive contract renewal with Sovos Compliance, LLC for their Affordable Care Act (ACA) form generation and IRS e-filing software solution. This solution is crucial for generating and filing approximately 41,000 Forms 1095-B and 1095-C annually, as required by the IRS under 26 U.S.C. § 6055. The current installation of the software will no longer be supported after Tax Year 2026, necessitating a transition to Sovos's cloud-based solution to maintain compliance and avoid significant financial penalties. Attempts to find alternative solutions from resellers like CDW-G and SHI were unsuccessful, as they could not provide a comparable solution that meets NVHA's specific needs for ACA form generation and IRS e-filing.
