Description
The Nevada County Behavioral Health Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide substance abuse treatment services, specifically focusing on Prevention and Early Intervention. These services are intended for youth aged 12-21 within Western Nevada County, to be delivered in a school-based setting and within the Children's Behavioral Health department. The selected contractor will embed a credentialed SUD Counselor to provide outpatient services (ASAM Level 0.5 and 1.0) to Medi-Cal members. Services will be provided in person, likely two to three days per week in local schools and two to three days per week at Nevada County Children's Behavioral Health. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, from approximately September/October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals based on performance and budget availability. The maximum funding available for outpatient services is $120,000. Applicants must be non-profit agencies, joint ventures, partnerships, or other legal entities with demonstrated experience in substance use services and must be Drug/Medi-Cal Certified or in the process of becoming certified.
