Description
The National Park Service is soliciting quotations for construction services to replace the steel drinking water fill pipe on an elevated water tank at Lee's Ferry, located near Marble Canyon, Arizona. The project scope includes removing the existing 6-inch fill pipe and supports, installing a new 3-inch epoxy-coated pipe, and replacing in-ground air relief and isolation valves. A temporary water storage and pressurization system will be installed to ensure uninterrupted service during the project. The work also involves pressure testing, disinfection, painting, backfilling, and restoring disturbed areas. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
