The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires renovation and physical security enhancements for a 2,700 SF modular facility (Building #6) at the Tucson Border Patrol Sector Headquarters in Tucson, AZ. This project is critical to support 24-hour operations for Special Operations Command North (SOCNORTH). The scope of work includes demolition and architectural repairs, structural modifications for a new security vestibule to support a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) door compliant with ICD 705 standards, HVAC upgrades with two new mini-split units, electrical system assessment and potential upgrades including a backup power generator, installation of a 6' high chain-link fence with concertina wire and two access gates, and the installation of a new CCTV system and an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) compliant with ICD-705 and UL 2050 standards. All contractor personnel requiring site access must be U.S. Citizens and pass a NACI background check. The technical drawings are designated as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and may be requested from the Contracting Officer. Offerors must have an active SAM.gov registration and be able to provide proof of a UL 2050 certified installer for the IDS.
