Description
The City of Phoenix, through the Phoenix Convention Center Department, is soliciting bids for a five-year contract to provide fire sprinkler inspection, testing, and maintenance services at the Phoenix Convention Center and its associated venues, including Symphony Hall, Herberger Theater Center, Orpheum Theatre, and multiple parking garages. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment (including lift equipment), reporting software, parts, and materials to inspect, test, repair, and modify fire sprinkler systems and private fire mains. Services include quarterly inspections of water flow switches, supervisory devices, riser flow testing, and valve tagging; annual inspections of fire department connections, sprinkler pipes and heads, and fire pumps (including 150% rated capacity testing); quinquennial internal obstruction investigations and pressure gauge replacements; and internal pipe corrosion analysis. The contractor must comply with NFPA standards and City Fire Code, submit reports to The Compliance Engine within three business days, and correct deficiencies within 60 days. Additional services such as system repairs, modifications, and standby technicians may be requested on an as-needed basis.
