Description
Amphitheater Public Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to provide well maintenance services for their 14 well systems on an as-needed/as-required basis. This solicitation covers labor requirements for maintenance and repairs, including any necessary repair or replacement parts. The contractor will be required to respond within 24 hours of notification and complete repairs within three days, unless parts are unobtainable locally. All repairs will be guaranteed for six months. The contractor must also ensure areas are kept clean and all materials are removed after repairs are completed. A mandatory Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) license is required for any modifications, deepening, or replacement of existing wells. The district has 10 wells listed with depths ranging from 250 to 600 feet, all utilizing submersible pumps except for one six-inch pump. The district also uses centrifugal impeller booster pumps at several locations. The district performs monthly meter readings and inspections, and wishes to increase preventative maintenance to extend well system life and improve efficiency.
