Description
The Okeechobee Utility Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the VPS #5 Group M Septic to Sewer Project. The contractor must provide all materials, equipment, and labor for installing 4-inch PVC sewer laterals, decommissioning onsite residential septic tanks, connecting residences to existing sewer laterals at the rights-of-way, and restoring affected work areas. Bidders must bid on the project in its entirety; partial bids will not be considered. Each bid must include evidence that the bidding entity is licensed or qualified to perform the work, a bid bond or certified check equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, and compliance with the required sealed-envelope marking. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment surety bonds within 10 days after written notice of contract award. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and technical questions must be submitted in writing.
