Description
The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Manager Agency services for one contract covering a new hospital annex and associated demolition. The annex will include an emergency department, burn unit, surgical suite with operating rooms, sterile processing, intensive care and burn-unit beds, mechanical spaces, partial imaging facilities, catheterization laboratories, interventional radiology, connections to the existing hospital, and capacity for future expansion. The related demolition project will fully demolish Clark Hall, Jacobsen Hall, the Bio-Ethics Building, and the Campus Activities Building; remove hazardous materials, building systems, and structures; relocate site utilities; and restore the site for the annex. The construction period is approximately 61 months, including 58 months of construction and three months of closeout. Estimated construction budgets are $290,077,000 for the annex and $19,000,000 for demolition. Respondents should emphasize significant past experience providing construction management services for public and institutional clients.
