Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to perform water testing for sterile processing services in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 at the Marion, Fort Wayne, and Jackie Walorski VA sites. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, lodging, supervision, sample collection, laboratory processing, monthly conductivity/resistivity-meter calibration, and water analysis reports. The scope includes monthly routine point-of-use and point-of-generation testing; quarterly performance qualification testing of utility, critical, and steam water; testing for pH, conductivity, alkalinity, hardness, bacteria, endotoxin, total organic carbon, metals, and other specified parameters; follow-up testing and corrective-action consultation for out-of-range results; reporting of outliers within 24 hours of laboratory-result receipt; and web-based access to testing data, historical trends, and compliance documentation. Onsite work is to occur on the first federal working day of each month during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
