Description
The West Virginia Department of Administration's General Services Division is soliciting bids for construction services at the Governor's Mansion on the West Virginia State Capitol Complex. The work includes demolishing and removing existing equipment; furnishing and installing five natural-gas chimney inserts, associated brick panels, plates, trim, fresh-air piping, vent pipes, caps, and nose cones; and furnishing and installing one chimney liner on the first floor. The vendor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidental work, permits, and transportation. The contractor must have completed at least three projects involving gas fireplace insert installation. Work includes site cleanup, final inspection participation, warranty documentation, a one-year labor warranty, visitor-badge and security compliance, applicable code and OSHA compliance, and coordination around an occupied facility. A hot-work permit or written authorization may be required for applicable work. The pricing page must be completed and submitted with the bid.
