Description
The Birmingham Parking Authority is soliciting sealed proposals from previously prequalified general contractors for the full renovation of approximately 2,965 square feet of existing office space. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect and contained in the Bidding Project Manual. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the Birmingham Parking Authority is required in an amount of at least 5% of the bid, capped at $10,000. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds, along with required insurance, will be required at contract signing. Contractors exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must provide their current state contractor license number on the sealed envelope and Proposal Form. A pre-bid conference is scheduled, and attendance is highly recommended.
