Description
The City seeks custodial services at 26 facilities, including recreation centers, healthy active living centers, offices, and related facilities. Work includes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens, floors, carpets, windows, fitness areas, and other spaces; trash, recycling, and compost handling; and periodic strip-and-wax floor care. Cleaning schedules vary by facility, and the scope includes limited and additional cleaning on request. The City provides cleaning supplies and equipment, while the contractor must provide labor, supervision, a 24-hour liaison and emergency availability, and completed cleaning checklists and performance records. Bids require pricing for the listed facilities and service categories, responses to the vendor questionnaire, and documentation of good-faith efforts to engage disadvantaged business enterprises. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required to submit a bid. The contract period is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2028, with two one-year renewal options.
