Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is procuring two HV-126-DM Air Drum Wheel End Training Systems for instructional, maintenance, and technical training. This is a no-substitute procurement. Each system must provide a complete, functioning air drum brake assembly for hands-on training, including shop-air operation, a heavy-duty trailer drum assembly with air chamber and axle, sectional cutaway, Bendix air valves and controls, Meritor slack adjuster, Macpek drum brake and axle, air reservoir with safety valve, three pressure gauges, and a mobile bench on casters. The successful bidder must deliver all units within 120 days after receipt of the purchase order, provide an electronic user manual and download link, provide a one-year warranty covering parts, labor, shipping, and travel, and conduct online instructor-led training for PennDOT personnel. The Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form (BOP-2201) must be submitted with the bid, proposal, or quote.
