Description
Dauphin County is requesting proposals for contracted beverage vending machine services at approximately 11 county facilities. The selected contractor must supply and install machines; provide non-alcoholic beverages including soft drinks, bottled water, sports drinks, juices, teas, and energy drinks; replenish products on a scheduled basis; keep equipment clean and operational; repair equipment within 48 hours of service requests; provide cashless payment options, electronic pricing, remote inventory monitoring, and ADA accessibility; and submit monthly sales reports. The proposal must include a commission percentage payable to the County for machines placed on County property. Proposals must address the contractor’s company history, experience servicing similar facilities, technical approach, equipment specifications, product list, pricing, service plan, maintenance procedures, references, insurance certificates, and relevant licenses. The initial contract term is five years with two optional one-year renewals. The solicitation requires comprehensive general liability insurance with a minimum $1 million per-occurrence limit and $2 million aggregate limit, with Dauphin County named as certificate holder and additional insured.
