The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is soliciting sealed bids for construction work on a municipal sewer connection at its Grooms Road facility. The work must follow the project drawings, specifications, and Project Manual; the commencement and completion schedule is specified in Section 011000, Summary of the Work. Prevailing wages apply, and bid security is required in the amount stated in the full advertisement for bids. Bidders are strongly urged to attend one of the scheduled site visits and must provide at least 48 hours’ advance notice to attend. The selected low bidder will have mandatory pre-award documentation requirements, including a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2), references and experience, a proposed subcontractor list, a detailed estimate, and proof of required insurance. Contractors and subcontractors performing covered public work must also meet the stated New York State Department of Labor registration requirement.
