Description
The City of Schenectady is soliciting bids for replacement of select CDBG-eligible sidewalks at multiple locations, including Moyston Street, Van Vranken Avenue, Willow Street, and Fifth Avenue. The work includes excavation and disposal, subbase course, concrete and hot-mix asphalt sidewalks and driveways, cast-iron detectable warning strips, stone curbs, pavement cutting, work-zone traffic control, mobilization, and turf establishment for an alternate item. The project is federally funded and requires prevailing wages, installation, onsite maintenance, certified payroll, traffic and pedestrian protection, insurance, bid security, performance and payment bonds, apprenticeship compliance, OSHA safety training where applicable, and MWBE/DBE/SDVOB participation and good-faith-effort documentation. Bidders must submit the City's bid forms, qualifications statement, references, certifications, bid security, and other checklist items with the sealed bid.
