Description
SUNY Schenectady County Community College is soliciting quotes from natural gas suppliers and brokers to provide firm, fixed, all-inclusive natural gas supply pricing per therm for either a three-year or five-year term. The selected supplier will provide natural gas supply, account management, utility coordination, and customer service. The college prefers separate billing for supply and utility delivery charges, and requires pricing to include broker compensation and all applicable costs, subject to limited pre-award market adjustments described in the RFQ. The college reports eight gas meters and approximately 184,041 therms of estimated annual usage, although the attached usage schedule totals 157,346 therms for July 2025 through June 2026 and states that usage is not guaranteed. Bidders must submit separate pricing for both term options and provide a signed bid form, required certifications and forms, evidence of authorization to supply natural gas in New York State, a W-9, and sample supply and broker agreements when applicable. The contract term is expected to commence February 1, 2027; the college may select either the three- or five-year option.
