Description
The Town is soliciting unit-price bids for industrial chemicals to be purchased as needed during 2027. Items include aluminum sulfate, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, chlorine, sodium hypochlorite, perlite filter media, muriatic acid, hydrated lime, potassium permanganate, liquid polymer, polyaluminum chloride, coagulant aid polymer, sodium bicarbonate, and citric acid. The bid response sheet specifies estimated quantities, delivery formats, and delivery points; quantities are estimates, and purchases are made by purchase order without a guaranteed minimum. The scope also includes chemical-specific requirements for product standards, certifications, analyses, safety data sheets, packaging, and delivery. Certain items require supplier testing, samples, technical support, operator training, or safety seminars. Bidders must submit the completed bid form and response sheet, required certifications and questionnaires, applicable product documentation, and safety data sheets for each chemical bid. Insurance documentation is required from the successful bidder before delivery, not with the bid.
