Description
The Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority is soliciting competitive bids for Phase 2 modernization of the elevators at Schonowee Village. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the bid criteria. Bids must be submitted in duplicate by personal delivery or registered mail with return receipt requested. A certified check, bank draft, or bid bond equal to 5% of the total proposal is required. The specifications also contain bonding and project-completion assurance requirements for the successful bidder. The owner is exempt from applicable federal, state, and local taxes on materials and supplies purchased under the contract.
