Description
The City seeks a supplier for approximately 48,000 gallons of 38% liquid sodium bisulfite during the January 1–December 31, 2027 contract period. The chemical must meet the stated composition and quality specifications, including NSF certification and ANSI/NSF Standard 60 compliance. Deliveries are to be made by dedicated tank truck in 4,000–4,500-gallon loads within 48 hours after notification; pricing must include transportation, delivery, and fuel surcharges, with no additional charges. Delivery slips must report the delivered quantity and specified solution measurements. Bidders must meet the stated manufacturer qualifications, including at least five years manufacturing the specified chemical and a manufacturing facility within 100 miles of the treatment plant, subject to the stated waiver when delivery and other qualifications can be met. The bid requires a 5% bid deposit and includes required insurance provisions. The solicitation also requires a notarized bidder qualification statement, a bidding sheet, and specified certifications and bid security with the submission.
