Description
CityBus (Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation) seeks a qualified law firm to provide comprehensive legal services on an as-needed basis as outside general counsel. The scope includes day-to-day legal advice, governance and Board support, public records and open-meetings compliance, labor and employment matters, collective bargaining, procurement and contract support, FTA and grant compliance, litigation and claims management, real estate and capital projects, and strategic regulatory advice. The selected firm must demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience representing public agencies, governmental entities, or public transportation organizations, including experience with FTA-funded procurements and grant compliance, public-sector labor and employment matters, and public procurement and contracting. Proposals must include a technical proposal, completed pricing sheet, key-personnel resumes, three references, required federal certifications and confirmations, evidence of specified insurance coverage, and any applicable notice of exception. The contract is for a one-year initial term with four optional one-year renewals; CityBus does not guarantee a minimum quantity of work.
