Description
Ocean County is seeking qualifications from attorneys and law firms licensed to practice in New Jersey to provide Assistant Counsel Services, Special Counsel Services, or both. Services will be provided on an as-needed, fee-for-service basis to the County, its officials, departments, boards, agencies, and commissions, with no guaranteed minimum workload or compensation. Specialized service areas include County Adjuster matters, Planning Board matters, Construction Board of Appeals matters, and Open Public Records matters. Respondents must identify the categories and service areas for which they seek qualification and provide attorney qualifications, relevant governmental legal experience, staffing and resources, professional licenses, four references, current New Jersey Supreme Court certificates of good standing, a certificate of insurance, a proposed fee schedule, and all required Vendor Questionnaire documents. Responses are evaluated based on qualifications, relevant experience and references, understanding and ability to perform, office location, and completeness.
