Description
The School District of Springfield R-12 is soliciting firm, fixed pricing for recycling services. Pricing is generally requested per pound, with lamps and bulbs priced per bulb and broken bulbs priced per pound. The scope includes monitors, televisions, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, computers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, servers, DVD players, VCRs, peripherals, batteries, miscellaneous electronics, multiple lamp and bulb types, and a pickup fee capped at $25 per pickup. The resulting contract will begin on the date of award for one year, with options to renew for two additional one-year periods. Bidders must provide service descriptions, company information and experience, organizational references, workforce information, local-government experience, business hours, representative contact information, and required compliance certifications. The solicitation also requires adherence to site-cleanliness, safety, hygiene, emergency-planning, data-access, contract, and insurance requirements. Responses must be submitted through the electronic bidding system; emailed and faxed submissions are not accepted.
