Description
Greene County is soliciting sealed bids for materials to replace two wash-bay catwalks and staircases at the Greene County Highway Department. The vendor must provide fiberglass-reinforced plastic catwalks and staircases, concrete anchors, stainless steel hardware, and any other materials necessary for installation; Greene County will perform the installation. The specifications include isophthalic polyester resin fiberglass, non-slip grit grating and stair treads, compliance with OSHA and IBC standards, platforms approximately 3 feet wide by 7 feet tall with guardrails, toe plates, and knee bracing, and OSHA-compliant staircases approximately 7 feet tall by 3 feet wide. The combined length from the beginning of the staircase through the platform may not exceed 24 feet. Bidders must submit pricing, estimated drawing and fabrication times, references for comparable work, the required vendor identification and compliance forms, and any applicable addenda.
