Description
Springfield Public Schools is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor and materials for replacement of the storm-damaged roof system at Watkins Elementary School. The scope includes a base roof replacement, potential replacement of damaged metal and wood roof decking, an allowance for District-directed work, roof-system submittals, manufacturer qualifications, site cleanup, prevailing-wage compliance, and a minimum one-year craftsmanship warranty. The contractor must provide a 5% bid guaranty and 100% payment and performance bonds. The response requires pricing and detailed information about the bidder’s services, company experience, organizational references, workforce, local-government experience, business hours, emergency response, schedule, local representative, manufacturer accreditation, and applicable certifications. Required uploads include the bid and subcontractor forms, bid bond, E-Verify documentation, DBE form, bid breakdown, roof-system submittals, qualifications, W-9 materials, state and local business licenses, and the specified felony-conviction and federal-work-authorization forms. Insurance requirements include general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, professional liability when applicable, riggers liability when applicable, and pollution liability when applicable.
