Description
The City of Springfield is soliciting proposals to replace the existing IED public address and terminal paging system at Springfield-Branson National Airport. The turnkey scope includes replacing the system headend, servers, software, amplifiers, and associated hardware; integrating approximately 540 existing AtlasIED speakers and cabling; removing the existing headend and amplifier equipment; performing discovery, installation, programming, testing, training, and cutover; and ensuring the system is fully functional at cutover. The proposed system must primarily support English announcements, with offerors asked to identify costs and approach for any additional language packs or text-to-speech dependencies. Addendum 1 clarifies site access, equipment limits, storage, existing amplifier configuration, speaker integration, removal and disposal responsibilities, and field-verification requirements. Airport badges are required for access, lifts may not exceed 6,000 pounds and may not use combustion engines, and the contractor must provide escorts once work begins. Substantial completion is required within 150 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, followed by final completion within 30 calendar days. Proposals must include the revised Form 6B, acknowledge Addendum 1, and be submitted electronically through Euna OpenBids by the revised deadline.
