Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks preventive maintenance and as-needed emergency repair services for reverse osmosis water systems serving sterile processing and laboratory departments. Work includes quarterly, semiannual, and annual maintenance; replacement of filters, membranes, cartridges, tanks, and ultraviolet components; loop sanitizing; and emergency response, with corrective action at the site within eight hours of an emergency call. The contractor must provide labor, parts, materials, transportation, and supervision, follow applicable manufacturer and AAMI standards, and provide field service reports after each visit. The quote must include a signed Standard Form 1449, pricing using the provided price schedule, applicable representations and certifications, a technical approach, required certifications, identification of proposed subcontractors, and past-performance and past-experience information for similar contracts ongoing or completed within the last three years. The technical volume is limited to 10 pages, with specified font and margin requirements. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options; the solicitation is set aside for small businesses.
