Description
Ocean County is seeking qualified funeral home vendors for a one-year contract beginning January 1, 2027. The scope includes removal, storage, and transportation of decedents' remains under the direction of the Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office, as well as funeral goods and services for the burial of unclaimed bodies and indigent individuals, including cemetery costs and fees. Respondents must demonstrate at least two years of experience in funeral home services and submit information about assigned personnel, education, experience, licenses and certifications, support staff, ability to perform tasks promptly, professional references, and insurance coverage. The County may qualify one or more vendors and issue project-specific purchase orders; pricing or cost estimates for project-specific work may be requested at no cost.
